smitten.
smitten kitchen is a food lover’s dream. i know i drastically overuse the word ‘obsessed,’ but i’m obsessed (smitten, would be an appropriate synonym, but that would be a pun very much intended). smitten kitchen manages to combine two of my VERY favorite things: great food and great writing into one witty, humorous, and photographically well-documented blog. it is the one...

bon voyage.
i have a serious addiction to travelling. there is nothing better than sitting at the airport, bags packed (i also happen to have a fondness for beautiful luggage), open to and awaiting all the charms and facets of a completely new place.
a sample of my must travel-to list: beirut. prague. casablanca and fez. lisbon. jerusalem. cinque terre. angkor, cambodia. agra, india. istanbul. thailand in...

in honor of today...
one of my favorite books:

i love those moments, and i still have a fondness for these lights.

spring.
spring is just around the corner, and what better way to usher in the new season than with this pretty, miniature garland?
i just love seasonal decorations, but i have never been one for the pastel-color overload that typically accompanies spring/easter decor (i think i’ll be painting my hollowed-out easter eggs with black chalkboard paint this year). this garland is chic, delicate, and...
